Marksman Contracting uses the Akkerman GBM240A to install 4" diameter pilot tubes on line and grade according to your projects needs.  The system produces accuracy to within .25", 300 feet and beyond.
The GBM is designed to fit into your auger boring machines tracks, or can stand alone for pipe ramming.(A back stop is required.)  First, the pilot tubes are installed on line and grade.  A 5" diameter stiffening shaft is added to the pilot tubes (for increased rigidity), then a reaming head the size of casing being used is connected to the 5" shaft, and welded to the casing.
Once the reaming head is welded in place, normal pipe jacking, or pipe ramming is carried out, the casing simply tracks behind the pilot tubes to the receiving pit.
A receiving pit is required to remove the pilot tubes as the casing advances.

Marksman provides all necessary equipment, tooling and experience for your project needs, priced by the foot.  No hassle with rental time frames or shipping costs.
